We are hiring for a great client in Placentia seeking a Customer Service / Expeditor to support their operations and sales teams. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service and administrative experience who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional, high-quality customer service throughout the quote and order process
- Process customer orders and enter data accurately into internal systems
- Monitor open orders, track delivery timelines, and follow up on delays or discrepancies
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to confirm pricing, lead times, and order details
- Update order status, shipping details, and timelines to ensure accurate records
- Assist customers with order inquiries, status updates, and expedite requests
- Partner with internal sales teams to support customer relationships within assigned accounts
- Prepare and send quotes based on customer requests and internal direction
- Maintain organized documentation and ensure all records are properly filed and tracked
- Collaborate with accounting and other departments to resolve order or billing-related issues
Qualifications:
- 1–3+ years of customer service, order processing, or administrative experience
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional phone and email etiquette
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience working within a CRM, ERP, or order management system required
