Occupational Therapist (OT) 

We are hiring for a great client in Chicago, IL. This is an on-site or hybrid contract opportunity for an Occupational Therapist (OT) who will provide therapy services to students to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence within the school environment. 

Responsibilities 

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop treatment plans 
• Provide direct therapy services aligned with IEP goals 
• Support students with sensory integration, motor coordination, and adaptive skills 
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement classroom strategies 
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress updates 
• Maintain accurate documentation and service logs 
• Recommend adaptive equipment and modifications as needed 
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations 

Qualifications 

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy 
• Active IL OT license 
• Previous school-based experience preferred 
• Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements 
• Strong collaboration and communication skills 
• Ability to manage caseload effectively
