We are hiring a Maintenance Worker on a contract basis for a reputable organization located in Fountain Valley, CA. Please apply directly if interested!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective building and equipment maintenance, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, welding, HVAC, and electrical repairs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, repair fixtures, and maintain security, safety, and playground systems.
• Operate, maintain, and perform minor repairs on HVAC systems and components.
• Conduct framing, finish carpentry, and structural repairs, such as doors, floors, partitions, locks, roofs, ceilings, and concrete work.
• Prepare surfaces and apply paint to various structures and fixtures.
• Utilize a computerized maintenance system to manage work orders, inspections, and job-related data.
• Replace and clean light fixtures using ladders or lifts and monitor contractors to ensure task completion and compliance.

Other Job-Related Duties:

• Load, lift, and transport materials and use power and hand tools for repairs.
• Maintain logs, records, and daily reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Vocational or technical training in facilities or building maintenance is highly preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of two years’ experience in facilities maintenance, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, welding, HVAC, and electrical work.

Licenses and Certifications:

• A valid California Class C driver’s license is required.
• A commercial driver’s license and Building Operator Certification are highly desirable.
• The required license must be maintained throughout the assignment.
