Temporary Staffing Professionals is hiring a Planning Technician for a well-established organization in Lake Forest. This temporary role will support various planning initiatives, including project management, zoning compliance, and development review.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in processing planning and entitlement applications for a variety of development projects.
• Conduct research and prepare detailed reports, recommendations, and visual materials.
• Attend and present at meetings with stakeholders, including internal teams and external organizations.
• Perform plan reviews and site assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Provide guidance and support to applicants, consultants, and agencies on planning-related matters.
• Analyze projects for regulatory compliance, including environmental impact assessments.
• Contribute to policy updates, zoning amendments, and land-use planning initiatives.
• Review and interpret state and local regulations to support project decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Experience with planning processes, zoning regulations, and project management.
• Familiarity with environmental review procedures and land-use policies.
• Strong analytical, research, and technical writing skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Prior experience in planning, development, or community projects is preferred.
