We are hiring for a great client in Irvine, CA, seeking an Human Resources Specialist to support their Human Resources Generalist in a temp-to-hire capacity. This hybrid role offers an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to grow within a dynamic organization.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and operational support for all HR initiatives, projects, and employee inquiries.
• Assist with benefits administration, including health insurance, 401(k) enrollment, and open enrollment coordination.
• Maintain and update HR reports and employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Support the management of Federal and State-mandated leaves such as FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and PFL.
• Facilitate new hire onboarding, including document processing and compliance training.
• Coordinate and administer mandatory company training (e.g., anti-harassment, HIPAA, SkillPath).
• Assist with employee relations by responding to HR-related inquiries and escalating as needed.
• Ensure proper documentation and electronic filing of personnel records.
• Review HR invoices for benefits, pre-employment screenings, and other HR-related services.
• Distribute and track acknowledgment of mandatory annual notices.
• Assist in policy implementation and updates as needed.
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of HR experience in an administrative or specialist capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom, and ADP.
• Experience in benefits administration is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
