We are hiring for a great client in Irvine, CA, seeking an Human Resources Specialist to support their Human Resources Generalist in a temp-to-hire capacity. This hybrid role offers an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to grow within a dynamic organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and operational support for all HR initiatives, projects, and employee inquiries.
- Assist with benefits administration, including health insurance, 401(k) enrollment, and open enrollment coordination.
- Maintain and update HR reports and employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Support the management of Federal and State-mandated leaves such as FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and PFL.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding, including document processing and compliance training.
- Coordinate and administer mandatory company training (e.g., anti-harassment, HIPAA, SkillPath).
- Assist with employee relations by responding to HR-related inquiries and escalating as needed.
- Ensure proper documentation and electronic filing of personnel records.
- Review HR invoices for benefits, pre-employment screenings, and other HR-related services.
- Distribute and track acknowledgment of mandatory annual notices.
- Assist in policy implementation and updates as needed.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of HR experience in an administrative or specialist capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom, and ADP.
- Experience in benefits administration is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
