We are hiring for a fully remote UI/UX leadership role with a cutting-edge software company focused on AI-powered client and customer experiences. We’re looking for a Principal UI/UX Designer to take ownership of the design strategy and execution for user-facing features across web and mobile applications. This position is ideal for a design leader who thrives on shaping complex workflows into user-friendly solutions and who brings both vision and practical expertise to building scalable design systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop clean, purposeful UI/UX solutions for client-facing and internal tools, with a strong focus on where AI can drive clarity, speed, and contextual support.
• Partner with AI and product teams to design features like smart suggestions, predictive workflows, and natural language interfaces.
• Map and refine critical journeys such as onboarding, task and document management, billing, client collaboration, and support.
• Establish reusable design frameworks that adapt across devices and reflect evolving user needs.
• Act as a strategic partner to leadership—bringing design thinking to conversations about market differentiation, product roadmap, and long-term innovation.
• Contribute to defining the company’s competitive edge through smart, user-first design solutions.
• Champion deep user understanding through interviews, usability testing, journey mapping, and behavior tracking.
• Translate qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable design improvements.
• Help foster a high-performance design culture through mentorship, peer support, and design system evolution.
• Ensure consistency, accessibility, and innovation in how design is implemented across the product.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing with AI elements such as large language models, chat interfaces, or recommendation systems.
• Familiarity with professional services platforms (e.g., accounting, legal, or consulting).
• Knowledge of behavioral analytics tools like FullStory, Pendo, or Hotjar.
• Comfort working in cross-functional pods alongside engineers, product managers, and data scientists.
