We are hiring for a great client of ours located onsite in Irvine, CA. This is a full-time, on-site Bookkeeper role offering a stable contract-to-hire path with long-term growth potential. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys a hands-on accounting environment, can manage daily bookkeeping functions with accuracy, and is comfortable supporting a fast-paced office with high attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and balance general ledger accounts by reconciling entries.
- Record financial transactions and verify accuracy of data.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Support the preparation of tax filings and other regulatory reporting as needed.
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred but not required.
