We are hiring for a great client of ours located onsite in Irvine, CA. This is a full-time, on-site Bookkeeper role offering a stable contract-to-hire path with long-term growth potential. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys a hands-on accounting environment, can manage daily bookkeeping functions with accuracy, and is comfortable supporting a fast-paced office with high attention to detail.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and balance general ledger accounts by reconciling entries. 
  • Record financial transactions and verify accuracy of data. 
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets. 
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. 
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. 
  • Manage bank and credit card reconciliations. 
  • Support the preparation of tax filings and other regulatory reporting as needed. 
  • Assist with budget preparation and forecasting. 

 

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role. 
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures. 
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. 
  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred but not required.
