Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) 

We are hiring for a great client in Phoenix, AZ. This is an on-site contract opportunity for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who will support students by implementing occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist in a school-based setting. 

Responsibilities 

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans as developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist 
• Provide direct therapy services to students to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills 
• Assist in documenting student progress and maintaining accurate service logs 
• Support students with classroom participation and functional independence 
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to carry over therapy strategies into the classroom 
• Assist with preparing therapy materials and adapting equipment as needed 

Qualifications 

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program 
• Active AZ COTA license required 
• Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred 
• Understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
