Paraprofessional (Instructional Aide) 

We are hiring for a great client in Flemington, NJ. This is an on-site contract opportunity for a Paraprofessional (Instructional Aide) who will provide direct classroom support to students and assist teachers in delivering high-quality instruction and behavioral support services. 

Responsibilities 

• Provide one-on-one and small group instructional support under the direction of a certified teacher 
• Assist students with academic tasks, assignments, and classroom activities 
• Support students with behavioral needs and implement behavior intervention strategies as directed 
• Help reinforce IEP goals and accommodations within the classroom setting 
• Assist with classroom management and maintaining a structured learning environment 
• Support students with daily living skills, mobility, or personal care as needed 
• Collect and document student progress data 
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff 
• Ensure student safety and maintain confidentiality at all times 

Qualifications 

• High school diploma required; Associate degree or completion of 30 college units preferred 
• Paraprofessional certification (or ability to obtain) preferred 
• Previous experience working with children, particularly in a school or special education setting 
• Ability to support students with mild/moderate
• Strong communication and teamwork skills 
• Patience, reliability, and a student-centered approach 
• Ability to follow direction and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
