Special Education Teacher 

We are hiring for a great client in Flemington, NJ. This is an on-site contract opportunity for a Special Education Teacher who will provide instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in an inclusive or self-contained classroom setting. 

Responsibilities 

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) 
• Deliver differentiated instruction tailored to students’ academic and behavioral needs 
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff 
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly 
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations 
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress 
• Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment 
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field 
• Active NJ Special Education teaching credential 
• Experience working with students with mild/moderate
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills 
• Knowledge of IEP development and compliance requirements 
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and families
