Paraeducator

TSP Ed Co is seeking a compassionate and dependable Paraeducator to join our team and support students in a school setting in Louisville, CO. 

This is a great opportunity for a Paraprofessional who enjoys working directly with students, building meaningful relationships, and helping children develop the academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional skills they need to be successful at school. 

What You'll Do 

As a Paraprofessional, you will work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and other members of the educational team to provide individualized support to students. Responsibilities may include: 

Providing direct 1:1 and/or small-group support to students 

Assisting students with academic assignments and classroom activities 

Supporting students with behavioral, social-emotional, and functional needs 

Reinforcing positive behaviors and implementing established behavior strategies 

Assisting students with transitions, routines, and participation throughout the school day 

Supporting students in developing greater independence and self-advocacy skills 

Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, therapists, and other school professionals 

Following individualized student plans, accommodations, and classroom strategies 

Maintaining accurate documentation and communicating student needs and progress 

Maintaining student confidentiality and following all school and TSP Ed Co policies 

Qualifications 

High school diploma or equivalent required 

Experience working with children or adolescents preferred 

School-based and/or special education experience is a plus 

Experience supporting students with behavioral or developmental needs preferred 

Ability to follow individualized student plans and established classroom strategies 

Strong communication, teamwork, patience, and organizational skills 

Dependable, compassionate, and committed to helping students succeed 

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team 

Ability to meet all applicable school and employment requirements
